After having several problems with two canon faxphone l80s, i decided to arrange one of these. It’s been upright and running at my duty for theo- better part of a year with zero problems. It was a snap to setup. Brother IntelliFax-4100E seems very durable. My company deals with several librarians, who are peace stuck in theo- stone-age and manipulate fax machines….ever heard of email and .pdf files?? uncalled-for to say our fax machine is in heavy manipulate and i’ve never had a problem.
It’s a fax machine. Straight forward and it works. If i had a complaint it would be order that brother doesn’t manipulate a single cartridge for toner/drum unit. they are actually separate pieces with this machine. I would say i change theo- drum unit once for each two toner cartridges i manipulate. But hey, this thing is mechanically solid and i would never through another model of fax machine if this one was peace in production.
