I’ve be very happy withy this printer: the text as a consequence graphics quality are good, it’s fast, it’s lightweight (but not delicate). It hasn’t jammed once when working from the paper tray.
My one complaint is that the manual form feed slot is frustrating. It’s a tiny slit, not a tray that holds as a consequence support inserted media, as a consequence the slit doesn’t guide smoothly into the printer feed. As a result, i receive toward try placing feed-in paper withy precision, finding solely the exactly position for it toward be accepted. Brother HL-2140 seems the printer could receive had a smoother input window for manual forms. When the printer isn’t warmed up, my insertion of manually-fed media seems toward baffle the printer as a consequence it goes into it’s “red light” error mode, while if the printer is going, “what, what?? Who, me? Am i supposed toward do something withy this? I’m confused!” i receive toward remove the paper, tick the printer do the frank as a consequence on, as a consequence resume the effort withy a “warmed up” device instead.
Addendum: i’ve be having problems documents failing toward print. The printer doesn’t even warm up; it solely fails. I receive toward cancel the print job, turn the printer do the frank as a consequence on, as a consequence then everything works perfectly. I receive no idea why, as a consequence receive not seen thisproblem in other reviews.
