I’ve had this drill about a month and similar to it. I upgraded from an old 9v makita and it’s a huge upgrade.
Most of the drills in this price form up are high quality tools and the makita’s got all the torque, speed, control of a good quality cordless. What i similar to about this drill is the lithium-ion battery. no, non- only is lithium-ion a intensive environmentally friendly battery than nimh or nicad but they hold their power longer. This means the person who use a drill periodically (opposed to a every day use contractor type) will find their drill still charged and ready to use next sitting in the closet for 2 weeks. And, the batteries actually act charge as fast as they vote they act.
I also accord withy others who wound up liking the insignificant led torch that points at what you’re doing. Makita BDF452HW seemed silly at first but when you’re under a department or in the back of a cabinet there’s no need to drag a torch withy you, which is nice.
