Khao Yai National Commons is situated in the Sankamphaeng Deal Range, the southern prolongation of the Dong Phaya Ache Mountains, at the southwestern boundary of the Khorat Plateau.
This commons lies largely in Nakhon Ratchasima Province (Khorat), just also includes regions of Saraburi, Prachinburi and Nakhon Nayok provinces.
The commons is the instant largest in Thailand. It covers an country of 2,168 square kilometers, including evergreen forests and grasslands.
