It is what it is… A well placed together compressor that is terrific for the weekend warrior. My detail came in good condition, although I could see a small leaked oil on the packing cardboard. This compressor is well made and should lastly a long time. Yes it runs quietly, and while it is heavy, the transport handle is well2 designed to assist in moving.
My entirely beef is that the didactics manual is pathetic and has not been updated. I assume that Makita utilized to ship this detail with breeze filter attached because there is no refer in the manual that you receive to install the filter. It is not difficult to perform this procedure, mind you, but it would exist nice to receive it noted in the manual under the subdivision on placing up the compressor. C’mon Makita, hire an English editor for a daylight and update your manual! Oh, and include some pictures with your parts description! In addition, you may name that you have to remove the temporary oil cap and install the separately packaged cap (also not remarked in the manual).
Update: I have now applied this production to skeleton a 850sf basement and it is awesome. Eventide had two people with framing nailers working snuff of it. It led a luck and may not get kept Makita MAC2400 up if we were working fast but it worked for us. While it passed a lot….it is not too noisy thus it was fine. Hence glad I bought this product.
